Hi, I'm Martha-Ann a seventy six year old woman from Yorkshire, England.
I'm a wife, mother and grandmother.
I love to walk and birdwatch...in fact anything to do with nature.
I like to garden and keep koi.
I take photographs incessantly and love to read, write and puzzle.
I also like crafty things like zentangles and embroidery.
I love the English language with its foibles and nuances and like to write poems and prose.

They didn't seem to be here long this year, I liked the idea of them sitting there like a music sheet...it would be interesting to hear the tune they made.

I always think it's a sad sight to see the Swallows gathering on the wires......your words say it all!
