Hi, I'm Martha-Ann a seventy six year old woman from Yorkshire, England.
I'm a wife, mother and grandmother.
I love to walk and birdwatch...in fact anything to do with nature.
I like to garden and keep koi.
I take photographs incessantly and love to read, write and puzzle.
I also like crafty things like zentangles and embroidery.
I love the English language with its foibles and nuances and like to write poems and prose.
Thanks Ruth, we haven't had many bees or other insects come to that...this one and a few of his riends took advantage of a splash of sunshine which only lasted about ten minutes, I hope he got back to his hive ok!
Hopefully our Bees will be sheltering somewhere dry today.....love the saddlebag analogy!
