Hi & welcome to a blog from me containing observances, poems, prose, reminiscences and anything else I might think of!!
I hope you enjoy the ramblings of an old...well! oldish...woman
Hi, I'm Martha-Ann a seventy six year old woman from Yorkshire, England.
I'm a wife, mother and grandmother.
I love to walk and birdwatch...in fact anything to do with nature.
I like to garden and keep koi.
I take photographs incessantly and love to read, write and puzzle.
I also like crafty things like zentangles and embroidery.
I love the English language with its foibles and nuances and like to write poems and prose.
White horses gallop ever shoreward Prancing, dancing moving forward To break and spume against the shingle Stones, foam and bubbles all a-mingle Shushing, sighing, bubbling home Shining water, swirling foam Crashing in no more to roam.
A nice descriptive piece Martha Ann........I love the last two lines!
